You can save production time and avoid extra art charges by providing us with the right kind of file. Please take a moment to read the following guidelines.

  • Adobe Illustrator, EPS or flattened PDF: Vector images result in the highest quality print
  • Adobe Photoshop: Canvas must be set to actual print size and file originated at 300 ppi or higher
  • JPG & TIFF: These files types work as long as they are scaled to print size and 300 ppi or larger
  • Please provide files at 100% of printed size. For acceptable sizes, see Standard Imprint Areas below. If you’re submitting Photoshop files, create them at 300 ppi.
  • Standard Imprint Areas for Shirts
    • Full Front or Big Back (adult): up to 15″ wide x 19″ high).
    • Full Front or Big Back (youth): up to 9″ wide x 9″ high
    • Left Chest: up to 5″ square
    • Adult Long Sleeve: up to 3.5″ wide x 13″ long
    • Short Sleeve: up to 3.5″ square
  • Choose from our stock colors and avoid mixing charges.
  • Need a custom color? We can match most any color by using our Pantone Matching System (PMS). Be sure to call out colors from the coated ink swatches. A $20.00 charge per color applies.
  • Convert your color swatches to SPOT colors.
  • Adobe Illustrator: Convert ALL TEXT to outlines (paths) when working in Illustrator. It’s called “Create Outlines” and it’s under the Type menu.
  • Adobe Photoshop: Rasterize your type when working in Photoshop. The option to rasterize type can be found under the Layers menu.
  • Corel Draw or Freehand: Export your file as an Adobe Illustrator file and convert text to paths.
  • Please DO NOT send us your fonts.
  • Feel free to use our quote form to send us your files.
  • If emailing files to us, please ZIP or STUFF them first. If total file size is greater than 18MB please contact us for file sharing instructions.
  • DO NOT send us files 72 ppi or smaller
  • DO NOT apply trapping to your art
  • DO NOT send files from the web (GIF, JPG)
